This privacy policy aims to inform visitors and users of the website notaire-mines.lu (hereinafter the “Site”) about how Robert Mines (hereinafter “we” or “Robert Mines”) collects and processes their personal data.

• Identification data: surname, first name, company, job title.

• Contact details: postal address, e-mail, telephone number.

• Connection and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, date and time of visit, cookies (see point 10).

• Content of messages sent via our contact forms or by e-mail.


We do not collect any special categories of data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR, unless required by law or with explicit consent.


Purposes and Legal Bases

a. Handling contact or quotation requests

– Legal basis: Article 6 (1)(b) GDPR – performance of pre-contractual measures.


b. Performance of our services and client relationship management

– Legal basis: Article 6 (1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract.


c. Sending commercial information about our services

– Legal basis: Article 6 (1)(a) GDPR – consent, or Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in promoting our activities to our clients.


d. Securing and improving the Site, audience statistics

– Legal basis: Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in ensuring the security and performance of the Site.


e. Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations (accounting, tax, anti-fraud, etc.)

– Legal basis: Article 6 (1)(c) GDPR.


Data Recipients

• Authorised personnel of Robert Mines bound by confidentiality.

• IT service providers, hosting provider, e-mail suppliers, all subject to contractual confidentiality obligations.

• Administrative or judicial authorities where required by law.


No data is transferred or sold to third parties for commercial purposes.


Transfers Outside the European Economic Area

Data are hosted within the EEA. No transfer outside the EEA is planned. Should such a transfer become necessary, we will ensure an adequate level of protection (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decision, etc.).


Retention Periods

• Prospects: 3 years after the last active contact.

• Clients: contract duration + 10 years (accounting obligations).

• Technical logs: maximum 12 months.

• Cookies: see point 10.


Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (SSL/TLS encryption, firewalls, backups, access-rights management) to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.


Your Rights

In accordance with Articles 12 to 22 GDPR, you have:

• The right of access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction and objection.

• The right to data portability.

• The right to withdraw consent at any time if processing is based on it.
